家庭孩童護工

The Home Child-Care Provider Pilot is an economic pilot program targeted to foreign national caregivers who

  • have a job offer or Canadian work experience in an
    eligible caregiver occupation
  • meet minimum education and language proficiency
    requirements (at least benchmark level 5)

How This Program Works

This program is open to applicants with the following job titles:

  • Babysitter;
  • Au pair;
  • Child care live-in-caregiver;
  • Child care provider – private home;
  • Nanny;
  • Parent’s helper;
  • Foster parent;
  • Babysitter – fitness centre; and
  • Babysitter – shopping centre.

The applicant must provide evidence that they have either of the following completed items

  • Canadian one-year post-secondary (or higher) educational credential
  • foreign educational credential and an Educational Credential Assessment (ECA) report issued by an organization designated by IRCC
